Well, it’s definitely the rainy season or changma now in Korea.

“The rainy season kicks off nationwide on Thursday, with some thunderstorms in the central region and further south.

The Korea Meteorological Administration on Wednesday said a seasonal rain front from the Yangtze River area was heading north, covering the entire country including Jeju Island by Thursday. In Jeju Island, Honam area and the Chungcheong provinces, strong winds will start Thursday night; with maximum rainfall up top 70 mm. Precipitation in Seoul and other areas is expected to be about 5-40 mm. A KMA official said the duration will vary from region to region since the rain front moves from north to south.”
