Grilled chicken on a stick and other delicacies for sale in Laos during a festival at a Buddhist temple.

Jeffrey – I’m not a big fan of chicken feet at all. Never like it and never want to try either. LOL!! My niece and nephew actually loves those chicken feet at dim sum place. If people seen where those chicken feet been through in Laos, most likely you’ll never eat them again. :-) Some people really love it though, especially when you’re drinking beerlao.

On the other hand, the “chicken on a stick” is quite good, and as anyone would know when traveling by bus in Laos, some good, cheap eats on the bus. I always like when the bus pulls into a town or along side of the road and all these vendors rush the bus waving the sticks of chicken in the air.

I’ll take chicken on a stick, and not a fan of chicken feet!

We bought chicken on a stick at the bus stop and it was good. I’m not so sure about the feet either, and on the stick? :)

You have to admit, chicken on a stick is a great way to eat it, especially when you have to travel on the bus for a long way.

Chicken feet! YES! I have to agree with Seeharhed&s niece and nephew and say that dimsum chicken feet “Fung zhao” (in Cantonese) are GREAT!

I dunno about grilling them though…(?) I’ll try it one day.
