Siam Tattoo — Patong Beach, Phuket

Am adding some color to a tattoo. He first started to do this tattoo of a tiger fighting a dragon on my leg in September 2006.

The first time I went to Siam Tattoo in Patong Beach, Phuket in September 2003, I wasn’t sure if I was going to get a tattoo or not.

I just happened to notice this tattoo shop just off Soi Bangla on Soi Easy when I was out one evening and decided to stop in. I had been thinking about getting another tattoo to add to my collection of ink ever since I had gotten a tattoo earlier in the year in Pattaya. It had been a few years since I had gotten a tattoo before I had got the one in Pattaya, and after getting that one, I was ready for more.
That night I met Am, the owner of Siam Tattoo. I told him that I was thinking about getting a tattoo (just a small one to start off with) and had a few ideas for what kind of design I was interested in. I looked at some of Am’s work and was impressed with what he could do. That’s all it took.
From that small tattoo I got on my back to a design of a Geisha on my left arm to a more ambitious tattoo design of a tiger fighting a dragon on my entire left leg, I have been very impressed with Am’s tattoo stylings. He’s been doing tattoos for over ten years and it’s no surprise that he is one of the more sought after tattoo artists in Patong Beach.
As soon as I got into Patong Beach and checked in at the Safari Beach Hotel (don’t be fooled by the name, this is a nice little hotel owned by the same folks who run Savoey Seafood) I headed over to Am’s tattoo shop. He was really excited to see me as always.

    Hi Jeffery.

I have been putting off getting my Tattoos donefor a number of years until i found the artist i would be comfortable doing my art.
i have been reading several different blogs for quite a while now and i you have convinced me Am is the artist for me and i don’t believe i will be disappointed.
I have booked a week in Phuket at Patong beach up at the Graeland resort and was wondering if you had the address for Siam Tattoo as i can only find Siam ink on the net and it does not have Am as an artist.
I would like to greet the man and discuss an appointment as i am determined to have him work on my designs.
by the way i love your ink mate the more colour the better.
wishing the best of your yesterdays match the worst of your tommorows..keep well
    Brian

      Hi Brian,

I am sorry that I don’t have any contact info for Siam Tattoo; however, the last time I was there it was located inside Soi Easy on Patong Beach. It is very easy to find. Most people around there know the artist; he usually arrives for work around 3:00pm.

Thanks for stopping by and your comments.

      Jeffrey
