I don’t remember the last time I watched The China Syndrome, but I do remember the first time I saw it at a theater across the street from Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in March 1979.

And today, I watched it again.

The film still holds up well. Jack Lemmon was brilliant, which is a no-brainer because he was brilliant in every movie he acted in.

What’s eerily ironic is that this film came out twelve days before Three Mile Island.
